In order to find the cast for our film we created posters to advertise auditions and placed them around the university. Although we recieved many emails expressing an interest in audition, only two people showed up. After casting Jake Pitman as Jake, based on his live audition, he put us in contact with Jess Almond. She sent in her auditions online  and we cast her as Hazel, as we believed that that was her stronger audition. Since we were running out of time before filming, Alice Doye was cast as Charlie.
